"This is a time for action, but there also is a need for analysis. Rallying around a common concern about economic injustice is a beginning; understanding the structures and institutions of illegitimate authority is the next step. We need to recognize that the crises we face are not the result simply of greedy corporate executives or corrupt politicians, but rather of failed systems."

The network is open to everyone. At our June Meeting, a core group of founding members agreed to create the initial framework for the network, and begin using it to aquire experieince.

Stop The Swap
Fri, 2011-05-20 10:46 | by mharrisECCoLoV has offered its voice to the growing Stop the Swap movement; people that are standing for the integrity of conservation laws and process in Connecticut that assures people who wish to preserve the natural beauty of their land that they can...in perpetuity. Unfortunately CT lawmakers current see fit to usurp these laws and this process by crafting legislation, in this particular case, to 'swap' conserved land with a commercial developer for the purpose of economic development (ostensbily).
